The Vojvodina region lies in the North of Serbia and is basically very flat, expect for the beautiful Fruska Gora National Park, which has its highest point at 539 meters. This route is a great combination of nature and culture. You will visit several towns, cities and villages which are spread out in the beautiful countryside.

The tour includes a lot of places for great lunches and visits to wineries for those who get very thirsty from biking. Accommodation can be adjusted to your wishes but will take mainly place at B&B’s and charming guesthouses.

The route is adjustable to your preferences. You can choose to travel less days and more or less kilometers per day, with our without luggage transport, from basic to luxury accommodation, etc.

The full tour is 6 days and around 365 Km in total.

Practical information

  • Tours can be booked for any size of group and start on any date as long as there is enough capacity. So book early!
  • The tour is do-able for everybody who is used to cycling. For those who want to skip the steepest climbs we will arrange transfers to the top.
  • For those who want to push themselves a bit extra there are alternative routes on several days during the trip.
  • Everybody can ride in their own tempo from point to point. A back-up van will be there to assist in case needed and you will get a mobile phone to call the driver in case needed
  • Most rooms during the trip are shared among 2 persons. Single room occupancy costs an additional 125 Euro.
  • The bikes have 21-gears and are medium sized. Please let us know in advance the length of the participants.
  • A carry-on buggy for maximum 2 kids or a dog is available
  • We have 2 high quality trekking e-bikes available for an additional rental price of 15 Euro p/day.
  • A passport is needed because part of the route goes through Croatia.

BEOGRAD – VRDIK/JAZAK 83km

The tour starts a little outside Belgrade, in Stari Banovci. You and the bikes will be brought there by van.

Stari Banovci- Stari Slankamen 27 km

First break for a small drink with great view on the Danube

Stari Slankamen- Maradik 25 km

After having cycled the first 50 km it is the perfect time for lunch in beautiful Etno House.

Maradik – Vrdnik/Jazak 31km

After the last cycling of the day we have reached the foot of Natural park Fruska Gora. You can choose between accommodation in the spa-resort or a private accommodation. If you’re interested and not to tired you can bike or take the van to visit the beautiful monasteries of Krusedo.


JAZAK/VRDNIK – NEŠTIN 62km

Jazak/Vrdnik – Crven Čot – Čerević – Banoštor – Gornje Kruševlje – Sviloš – Vizić – Neštin


The second day has a little less kilometers but includes two climbs on mount Fruska Gora, both of about 4-5 km. But of course we also have two nice parts of the same length downhill…

Jazak/Vrdnik – Banoštor  31 km

Time for a lunch break in the village of Banoštor

Banoštor – Neštin  31 km

After lunch the route continues with an easy climb to digest and burn the food. You will pass two or three monasteries on the way.

In Neštin there is a nice private house for accommodation with a large garden and a good BBQ for those who like some grilled food after this climbing day.


NEŠTIN – BOĐANI 75km

Neštin – Ilok – Bačka Palanka- Via Danube- Bačko Novo Selo – Bač – Plavna – Bođani


On this day you will cycle through the special natural park Karađorđevo where Yugoslavia’s president Tito had his weekend house . You can also visit two fortresses on this day, in Bač and in Ilok.

Neštin – Bačko Novo Selo 47 km

Possibility for lunch in a fishermen restaurant where the fish is served straight from the river.

Bačko Novo Selo – Bođani 28 km

Arrival and time to relax and sleep at a Vojvodina ranch.


BOĐANI – VUKOVAR 79 km – ACIN SALAŠ 92 km

Bođani – via Danube – Karavukovo – Bogojevo – Erdut – Borovo – Vukovar


A very flat stage, so it is possible to ride a longer distance if you feel like it. This part will go through Croatia where you will see a lot of traces of the war in the 1990-ies. The route on this day is both impressive and beautiful.


OVČARA – NOVI SAD 85 km

Ovčara – Ilok – Neštin – Susek – Banošter – Beočin – Futog – Novi Sad
Ovčara – Beočin


A nice first leg of the route and plenty opportunities to have nice break at one of the 10 (!) wineries along this part of the route, before crossing the Danube by ferry.

Beočin – Novi Sad 20 km

The final part of the big tour! A nice ride to the charming capital of Vojvodina. In Novi Sad there will be a comfortable room and nice diner waiting for you.


Novi Sad


The perfect rehab from 5 days of cycling is to go cycling! You’ll join an easy-going guided bike-tour through Novi Sad with iBikeNoviSad. The rest of the day you can enjoy Novi Sad yourself, for instance by relaxing on its Danube-beach or by visiting the fortress. At the end of the afternoon you and the bike will be picked up and driven to Belgrade.

Optional Extra day Novi Sad – BGD

If you want to enjoy Novi Sad a bit more, or like to bike around in the area some more, you can always stay there another night.

If you want to bike back to Belgrade it is also possible. The ride is about 80 to 90 km long and after a hilly start it is pretty much flat and straight.
