In the old part of town, in a typical Dorcol street with old houses and shady trees, a stones throw from Kalemegdan park, you will find a nice little oasis called Meduza.
The owner from Barcelona calls it a Cafe / Bookshop, which means that next to a bunch of nice drinks you can find a modest selection of books in Spanish. One of the few bars that offer a nice, Serbian brewed beer from Valjevo. A very normal beer, which makes it special. Try it and you’ll understand. A nice program with several cultural events, photo-exhibitons and movie-screenings and a weekly Couchsurfer’s meeting on Wednesday always gathers a nice crowd of young, friendly and hip people.
